At the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, a new generation of passenger electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft took center stage. Leading the pack, the INFLYNC L600 made headlines as the world’s first full-size tiltwing ducted-fan eVTOL.
With a wingspan of 13.5 meters, a 10-meter length and 3.5-meter height, the L600 is a lightweight powerhouse. Weighing in at just 2.8 tons and packing up to 620 kilograms of payload, it can carry one pilot and five passengers. Thanks to its hybrid extended-range and tiltwing design, urban explorers could soon zip across cities up to 600 kilometers on a single charge, cruising at 360 km/h.
This showcase isn’t just about sleek specs. It’s a peek into the future of low-altitude travel, where sustainable design meets real-world needs. From business hubs to sprawling megacities, homegrown Chinese mainland innovators are rapidly pushing the boundaries of electric aviation—turning science fiction into sky-high reality.
As cities look for cleaner, faster and more flexible transport options, the rise of eVTOLs like the INFLYNC L600 signals a shift toward greener skies. For entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts and seasoned travelers, this could mark the beginning of a new era in urban mobility.
