China and Nigeria Fast-Track Cooperation on Trade and Belt and Road

In a meeting in Shanghai ahead of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Nigerian House Speaker Abbas Tajudeen underscored the rapid rise of China-Nigeria ties.

Li emphasized that thanks to joint efforts, relations have entered a fast track of development. He highlighted the strong foundations built on deep traditional ties and noted that both developing countries boast large populations and significant growth potential.
