In Deqing, on the Chinese mainland's Zhejiang province, the 2025 Kailas Mogan Mountain Running Race transformed a quiet autumn night into a spectacle of light and endurance.
At the sound of the starting gun hundreds of headlamps lit up the forest trail at once and disappeared like a dragon into the darkness. Over 500 runners from more than a dozen countries and regions embarked on a 30 kilometer route with 1500 meters of elevation gain.
