75th Anniversary Film Exhibition Honors Chinese People’s Volunteer Army

From October 25 to November 23, cinemas across the Chinese mainland will host a film exhibition marking the 75th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army’s participation in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. This retrospective invites audiences to relive those pivotal years on the silver screen and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.

Highlighting the lineup are Chen Kaige’s acclaimed "The Volunteers" trilogy and the blockbuster "The Battle at Lake Changjin" film series. These screenings blend cinematic spectacle with poignant storytelling, revisiting the stories that captivated audiences when they first premiered.

Beyond its historical focus, the exhibition speaks to a global youth audience by showcasing how cinema can preserve collective memory and spark dialogue. For digital nomads, film enthusiasts, and curious travelers, this retrospective offers a fresh perspective on a defining moment in modern Asian history and underscores the universal themes of sacrifice, solidarity, and remembrance.
