2023 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, and Nguyen Thi Lan, a student from Vietnam, is at the heart of this cultural celebration. Arriving in 2023 to study at Tianjin University, she is enrolled in the 'Chinese Language + Cross-border E-commerce' program, blending language skills with market insights.
Through her camera lens and social media channels, Lan shares vivid snapshots of her hometown’s traditions with her Chinese followers, weaving stories of food, festivals and daily life. Her posts are more than images—they are invitations to explore a shared heritage and spark conversation across borders.
Beyond storytelling, Lan volunteers in community projects and steps into the role of translator at economic and trade exchange events. “Facilitating cooperation between the two countries is the most meaningful thing,” she says, reflecting the energy of youth-driven diplomacy and her passion for building real-world connections.
