In a strategic meeting in Beirut, Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, pledged full support to Lebanon and its resistance movement during talks with Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem.
"Iran is present in all forms of support for Lebanon and its resistance," Larijani told Lebanon's official National News Agency, emphasizing a commitment to stand by Beirut "at all levels."
Qassem expressed gratitude for Iran's assistance, praising Lebanon's resilience in the face of U.S. and Israeli pressures. "Hezbollah remains open to dialogue with all parties and is ready for cooperation with those confronting Israel," he said.
Earlier in his visit, Larijani met Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and voiced support for Hezbollah's push to deepen ties with Saudi Arabia. He framed regional cooperation as vital to countering shared security challenges.
With these discussions, Tehran and Hezbollah are signaling a renewed focus on partnership and coordination across the Middle East.
