Tiger and Lion Cubs Debut at Henan Zoo for National Day Holiday

As the National Day holiday approaches, wildlife fans are in for a treat at a zoo in Qinyang, Henan Province, on the Chinese mainland. From October 1, five one-month-old Siberian tiger cubs and three even younger white lion cubs will make their public debut, offering a rare glimpse of these fluffy youngsters in action.

Covered in brown fur with dark stripes, the Siberian tiger cubs have started showing their playful side and natural instincts, especially during feeding time. Breeder Feng Xuening reports, "The tiger cubs are all quite healthy. They are fed with customized milk and meat almost every two hours. When they were born, they were only 800g each. But now, each of them weighs around 2 kilograms."

Meanwhile, the three white lion cubs – a rare mutation of the African lion – are just under a month old. Abandoned by their mother at birth, they're now thriving under round-the-clock care in the zoo's nursery. Apart from the dark tips on their tails, these cubs are as white as snow.

Both groups are in excellent health and ready to captivate visitors, making this National Day holiday a must-see for young explorers, wildlife enthusiasts, and anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
