Chinese President Xi Jinpings special envoy and Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu will attend Papua New Guineas 50th independence anniversary celebrations from September 15 to 17. He was invited by the government of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea.
Huang Runqius mission underscores growing collaboration on environmental protection and sustainable development. Official discussions are expected to focus on climate resilience, forest conservation and the exchange of green technologies.
During his stay, Huang will meet with Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea James Marape to explore joint initiatives aligned with global sustainability goals. He will also participate in cultural performances and community exchanges celebrating PNGs diverse heritage.
