In the heart of the Chinese mainland, every 118 seconds a new electric vehicle rolls off VOYAH's Wuhan smart factory, a national-level demonstration facility powered by 5G and the industrial internet.
Part of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, the plant sits in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone in Hubei Province. Here, 10 automakers, 14 factories, and more than 1,400 component suppliers collaborate to produce nearly one million vehicles annually.
In August, VOYAH's Wuhan hub hosted journalists from leading outlets as part of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee's 'Dynamic China Research Tour,' underscoring the factory's role as a showcase for smart manufacturing.
Launched in July 2020, VOYAH has raced to the forefront with innovations in platforms, electronic architectures, and chassis design. In November 2024, the factory celebrated the production of China's 10 millionth NEV, a milestone highlighted in President Xi Jinping's New Year address.
Market traction has been swift: in the first half of 2025, VOYAH sold more than 56,000 premium NEVs, with monthly sales topping 10,000 for four months straight.
On the international front, VOYAH has entered over 40 markets since 2022, from Norway to Italy. This year, it prepares to launch in Germany and France as it extends its reach across Europe.
By harnessing 5G-powered robotics, real-time analytics, and integrated industrial internet, VOYAH's Wuhan plant embodies the future of smart manufacturing, driving speed, quality, and sustainability in the NEV era.
For global citizens, tech enthusiasts, and sustainability champions, VOYAH's rise in the Chinese mainland offers a glimpse into how smart factories are shaping the next wave of automotive innovation worldwide.
