The Chinese squad added two silver medals at the ongoing Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, proving once again the nation’s strength in precision sports.
In a thrilling men’s 10-meter air pistol team final, Lu Dingke, Li Xianhao and Wang Honghao scored a combined 1889.2 points—just 3.3 behind India’s gold medalists Rudrankksh Patil, Arjun Babuta and Kiran Jadhav. South Korea completed the podium in third.
On the individual front, both Li and Lu advanced to the finals. Lu held second place after the first stage and narrowly missed the top spot with 249.8 points, trailing Kazakhstan’s Islam Satpayev by a mere 0.3. South Korea’s Park Ha-jun clinched bronze.
With margins this tight, every shot matters. China’s shooters have set a challenging pace for the remaining events, while fans around the globe are left on the edge of their seats.
