The women\u0019s 10m platform final at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore delivered a thrilling display of diving excellence, as 19-year-old Chen Yuxi clinched her fourth world title and lifted China\u0019s gold tally to eight in diving events this year. Known for her consistency and technical mastery, Chen topped both preliminary and semifinal rounds before delivering five 80+ point dives in the final to amass a winning score of 430.50 points.

Germany\u0019s Pauline Pfeif claimed silver with a solid 367.10, while China\u0019s 15-year-old Xie Peiling \u0014 making her World Championships debut \u0014 took bronze with 358.20. Xie, reflecting on her first major international podium, praised Chen for her unwavering support. "After I stumbled in the semifinal, Chen came over to encourage me. Her technique is something I hope to carry into my own dives," Xie said.

For Chen, each world title holds a special place. She recounted her debut gold win in Gwangju in 2019, her comeback from injury in Budapest 2022, and her personal-best performance in Fukuoka 2023. "Even though this is my fourth world title, each one carries its own meaning," she said. "This time, despite physical strain and the challenge of maintaining my form, I was still able to deliver a 430-point performance. I'm very satisfied."

With the 2024 Paris Olympics behind her and the 2028 Los Angeles cycle on the horizon, Chen remains grounded. "I don’t have a long-term plan yet. Coming off the podium today, I’m just taking it step by step, starting again from zero," she added, reminding fans that even the most decorated athletes embrace the journey one dive at a time.
