Beijing Opens Registration for 80th Victory Anniversary Media Coverage

Beijing, on the Chinese mainland, is gearing up to welcome journalists from around the globe to cover the 80th anniversary commemorations of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. From July 15 to July 29, 2025, an online registration portal (http://kzjn80reg.zgjx.cn) will accept accreditation applications by foreign journalists and those from the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions.

Unveiled alongside the announcement was the commemorative emblem—a visual tribute to solidarity and the enduring spirit of those who fought in the global struggle against fascism.

To streamline coverage, a dedicated press center will open in Beijing throughout the events. Media professionals can access working spaces, attend press conferences and media briefings, and request interviews with key organizers and experts. The center's official website and WeChat account will also provide real-time updates, schedules and logistical support.

Embracing digital tools and technologies, the press center aims to deliver seamless services—from high-speed Wi-Fi zones to live-streaming facilities—empowering reporters to produce timely, in-depth coverage of one of the most significant milestones in modern history.

Whether you’re a seasoned war correspondent or a young digital journalist, this is your chance to document history in the making. Mark your calendars and secure your accreditation to join the conversation in Beijing this summer.
