Nationwide Protests Erupt After U.S. Strikes Iranian Nuclear Sites

Anti-war protests broke out in major US cities after U.S. attacks targeted three Iranian nuclear sites. Activists gathered in Times Square, outside the White House and beyond to voice their dissent.

In New York City, around 100 demonstrators marched through Times Square, holding signs such as "Stop the War on Iran" and "Hands Off Iran." Social media videos also captured protesters rallying outside the White House in Washington, D.C.

The ANSWER Coalition, one of the groups behind the demonstrations, announced emergency rallies in more than 15 cities across the country.

โ€œTrump's unprovoked bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities is an outright war crime. It violates the UN Charter, international law and the U.S. Constitution. It threatens to set into motion a regional or even global war with massive casualties, nuclear radiation and catastrophic consequences,โ€ reads a post on the Coalition's website.

โ€œWe demand an immediate end to U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran and its sovereignty,โ€ the group urged.

As videos and live streams spread online, the movement gains momentum, reflecting growing anti-war sentiment and sparking debates on U.S. foreign policy and global security.
