China Evacuates 160 Chinese Students from Israel Amid Regional Tensions

In an exclusive interview with CGTN, China's Ambassador to Israel Xiao Junzheng provided an update on the status of Chinese nationals in Israel amid ongoing regional tensions. The Chinese Embassy has received more than 100 distress calls from students and tourists and has coordinated a safe exit for many.

So far, approximately 160 out of over 260 Chinese students have been moved to safety, representing around 62 percent of the student population currently in the country.
