21 Arab and Muslim States Unite to Condemn Israeli Strikes on Iran

In a rare display of unity, 21 Arab and Muslim countries issued a joint statement on Monday condemning Israel’s airstrikes on Iranian territory, calling the attacks a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, according to Egypt’s official news agency MENA.

Initiated by Egypt after talks led by Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, the coalition spans from Türkiye and Jordan to Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Algeria. The full list also includes Bahrain, Brunei, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Sudan—each urging respect for national sovereignty, territorial integrity and principles of good neighborliness.

In their joint declaration, the foreign ministers warned that continued hostilities could have serious consequences for regional security and stability. They called for an immediate halt to Israeli actions against Iran and pressed for comprehensive de-escalation efforts leading to a lasting ceasefire.

As tensions simmer across the Middle East, this diplomatic push highlights the growing demand for peaceful conflict resolution and the power of collective action in shaping regional peace.
