Barcola Shines as PSG Clinch 16th Coupe de France

Bradley Barcola delivered a standout performance as Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-0 victory over Reims in the Coupe de France final. The win extended PSG’s record number of cup titles to 16 – six more than archrivals Marseille – and completed a historic domestic treble.

Barcola opened the scoring in the 16th minute after a precise angled pass from Desire Doue. Just three minutes later, Doue set him up again with a clever through ball, doubling the lead. Late in the first half, Barcola whipped in a dangerous cross that right back Achraf Hakimi volleyed home.

Despite a quieter second half, PSG’s defense held firm, preserving the clean sheet and allowing the team to celebrate a third trophy this season alongside their Ligue 1 title and the Trophee des Champions.

With domestic honours secured, all eyes now turn to Munich, where Coach Luis Enrique’s side will seek their first UEFA Champions League crown against Inter Milan next Saturday. PSG previously fell short in the 2020 final against Bayern Munich, leaving that elusive European prize as the only gap in their glittering trophy case.

Fans and analysts alike see this as a pivotal moment: can Barcola and his teammates translate their domestic dominance into continental glory? If they succeed, PSG would join a select group of clubs achieving a continental treble and cement their status among Europe’s elite.
