A mountain torrent and mudslide struck a village in Longsheng County, Guilin City of south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region early Friday morning.
Local authorities report that eight people are suspected missing following the landslide, which damaged ten houses.
Rescue teams are on site, working to locate the missing and secure the affected area.
