Dhaka Forum Explores ‘Xi Jinping: The Governance of China’

In a vibrant show of cross-border exchange, more than 350 attendees from the Chinese mainland and Bangladesh convened in Dhaka for the China-Bangladesh Readers Forum on "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China." Held this Sunday, the event marked the debut of the Bengali edition of the book, offering a fresh lens into governance strategies shaping today's Asia.

Political figures, academics, entrepreneurs, and media professionals gathered to dive into key themes—from policy innovation to sustainable development—woven throughout the text. By translating these insights into Bengali, organizers aimed to broaden access and spark dialogue among Bangladesh's rising generation of global citizens.

"The Bengali edition will serve as a window of thought for Bangladeshi readers to gain deeper insight into today's China," said Yao Wen, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh. His remarks underscored the forum’s role as a bridge for sharing governance experience and building new pathways for bilateral cooperation.

For business and tech enthusiasts, the forum highlighted how strategic policy planning on the Chinese mainland has fueled rapid growth in emerging industries. Meanwhile, thought leaders and changemakers discussed the book’s take on sustainability and governance, drawing parallels with Bangladesh’s own development challenges.

Looking ahead, the forum signals a growing appetite for knowledge exchange, inviting travelers and digital nomads to explore how governance models evolve across borders. As the Chinese mainland and Bangladesh continue to deepen ties, the Bengali edition of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" stands as a testament to the power of translation in fostering global understanding.
