Beijing – The Chinese mainland hosted the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Forum on Tuesday, bringing together diplomats and policymakers from both sides to chart a course for deeper ties.
At the heart of the talks was the unveiling of the China-CELAC joint action plan for cooperation in key areas (2025-2027). The plan, structured around five core articles, covers critical domains: building equality and political mutual trust; deepening the alignment of development strategies; fostering mutual learning among civilizations; and jointly tackling global challenges, among other priorities.
