Samsung Unveils Slimmest Flagship S25 Edge with AI Boost

Samsung Electronics has rolled out its slimmest flagship yet: the Galaxy S25 Edge. Packing advanced AI features into a razor-thin frame, the new model is designed for users on the move who demand both style and substance.

Portability Meets Performance

Feedback from consumers in their 20s and 30s drove engineers to trim down internal components, including the printed circuit board and thermal systems. The result? A handset that’s easier to slip into a pocket without sacrificing processing power and battery life.

A Race Ahead of Apple

Industry analysts note that Samsung’s timing is no accident. By unveiling the S25 Edge months before Apple’s rumored thinner iPhone release in the second half of the year, Samsung aims to seize the ultra-slim segment first. NH Investment & Securities senior analyst Ryu Young-ho says investors see this as a strategic play to capture consumer demand.

Global Rollout

The Galaxy S25 Edge lands in South Korea on May 23 and in the United States on May 30. Samsung plans to expand availability to about 30 countries, including China and several European markets, by the end of the quarter.
