Under the floodlights of Shaoxing's China Textile City Sports Center, the men's long jump stole the show at the World Athletics Diamond League. Home favorite Shi Yuhao unleashed a massive 8.21m leap to claim gold, electrifying the crowd and raising the bar for competitors.

Later in the triple jump final, Paris Olympics silver medalist Zhu Yaming added bronze for the host nation with a 16.92m effort. Despite standing on the podium, Zhu pressed on: 'I'm turning 31 soon, but mentally, I feel 24 or 25. There's still so much potential in me, and I'll keep fighting.'

On the field, javelin thrower Dai Qianqian hurled a personal best of 64.38m to secure silver, marking a career milestone and hinting at more breakthroughs ahead.
