300 Killed in RSF Attacks on Al-Nuhood, SW Sudan

At least 300 people were killed over two days in paramilitary attacks on the city of Al-Nuhood in West Kordofan State, southwestern Sudan, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

The ministry’s statement accused the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of committing "crimes against humanity," alleging that the killings were carried out on an ethnic basis.

Highlighting the gravity of the assaults, the ministry called on the United Nations Security Council and other international actors to end what it described as "leniency" toward RSF actions and to take urgent steps to halt further bloodshed.

The RSF has not yet responded to the allegations, leaving critical questions about accountability and justice unanswered for the victims and their families.
