“Feel China” Cultural Festival Launches in Mongolia to Strengthen Ties

The vibrant \"Feel China\" cultural events officially commenced in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, on Monday, marking the beginning of a five-day celebration aimed at fostering deeper cultural exchanges between China and Mongolia.

Co-organized by the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia, and the Information Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia, the festival celebrates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Prominent figures attended the opening ceremony, including Jiang Xinhui, Director of the Information Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia, Zhang Muxing, Acting Ambassador and Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, and Adiyasuren Davaajargal, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia.

State Secretary Davaajargal expressed optimism that the events would further enhance cultural ties and promote cross-border tourism between China and Mongolia.

Jiang Xinhui highlighted the pivotal role of Inner Mongolia as a bridge for cooperation, leveraging its geographical and cultural proximity to facilitate economic and trade exchanges, cultural collaborations, healthcare initiatives, and ecological conservation efforts.

\"With our joint efforts, the 'Feel China' event has been successfully held in Mongolia for many consecutive years. We have consistently adhered to our mission of promoting people-to-people exchanges and strengthening friendship, allowing Mongolian friends to better understand China and Inner Mongolia,\" Jiang stated.

The festival features a diverse range of activities, including Shaolin martial arts performances, the inauguration of a Chinese book reading classroom at a Mongolian university, free health check-ups, and screenings of Chinese movies on Mongolian television and in cinemas.
