Beijing-based private aerospace company Galactic Energy recently launched its flagship CERES-1 Y10 rocket, carrying eight satellites into a 535-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit.
The mission, dubbed "Auld Lang Syne," lifted off at 4:07 p.m. Beijing Time on March 17 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest region of the Chinese mainland. Key payloads included the Yunyao-1 55-60, AIRSAT-06, and AIRSAT-07 satellites.
This launch marks the 17th mission of the CERES-1 series, which has so far delivered a total of 71 satellites into preset orbits.
