Heilongjiang Dominates Guizhou to Clinch Mixed Doubles Title at Chinese Curling League

Heilongjiang swept aside Guizhou with a commanding 8-1 victory to secure the mixed doubles title at the Chinese Curling League event in Lyuliang, Shanxi Province, on Wednesday.

The match got off to a strong start for Heilongjiang, scoring one point in each of the first three ends to establish an early 3-0 lead. In the fourth end, Zhu Zeyangxu delivered a strategic yellow stone to a prime position, allowing Heilongjiang to steal two additional points and extend their advantage to 5-0.

The dominance continued into the second half of the game. Although Guizhou managed to score a single point in the fifth end, Heilongjiang quickly responded by adding two more points in the sixth, pushing the score to 7-1.

Facing a daunting deficit, Guizhou struggled with a poor delivery in the seventh end and ultimately conceded the match. Both teams shook hands in a respectful display of sportsmanship, with Guizhou acknowledging the likely outcome and congratulating Heilongjiang on their well-earned victory.

The next stop of the season is scheduled to begin on March 3 in Xining, Qinghai Province, where teams will vie for the top spot in a highly anticipated showdown.
