Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian on Thursday stated that the United States' efforts to create discord in China-Russia relations are completely ineffective.
In response to concerns expressed by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio regarding China-Russia relations, Lin emphasized during a regular press conference that the strong internal driving forces underpin the bilateral ties, making them impervious to influence from any third party.
Lin highlighted that both China and Russia have long-term development strategies and foreign policies, and despite shifts in the international landscape, the relations between the two nations will continue to progress smoothly.
