China has unveiled its latest engineering marvel: the world's largest pile-driving vessel, which embarked on its maiden voyage Monday from Qidong in Jiangsu Province. Designed for ambitious infrastructure projects, the vessel is heading to construct the Hangzhou Bay Cross-Sea Railway Bridge – a critical link in China’s high-speed rail network.
Spanning 200 meters and capable of driving 50,000-ton piles into the seabed, the vessel represents a leap in marine construction technology.
