Cuban Foreign Minister to Strengthen Ties with China in Upcoming Visit

Cuba is set to deepen its diplomatic relations with China as Special Envoy of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, prepares for an official visit from June 5 to 9. Rodriguez Parrilla, who also serves as a Member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and Minister of Foreign Affairs, was invited by Chinese authorities to discuss bilateral cooperation and mutual interests.

The visit, announced by China's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning on Tuesday, underscores the ongoing efforts to enhance strategic partnerships between the two nations. Topics likely to be on the agenda include economic collaboration, cultural exchanges, and support for global initiatives addressing issues such as sustainability and technological innovation.
