Chinese Ambassador Xie Feng Stresses Cooperation at USCBC’s China-U.S. Relations Anniversary

On Thursday, Nov. 7, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, delivered a video speech at an event hosted by the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC) to commemorate the 45th anniversary of China-U.S. diplomatic relations.

In his speech, Ambassador Xie emphasized the three principles put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping: mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation. He highlighted that these principles encapsulate the experience of China-U.S. relations over the past decades and outline the right path for the two countries to navigate their relationship in the new era.

Ambassador Xie expressed his hope that the U.S. side will work collaboratively with China, stand on the right side of history, and align with the trends of the times and the will of the people. He advocated for jointly advancing the relationship along a stable, sound, and sustainable track.

“China will never become another United States. Differences should be an impetus for exchanges and mutual learning, rather than a pretext for exclusion and confrontation,” Xie emphasized, underscoring the importance of fostering understanding and cooperation despite differing perspectives.
