Chinese Premier Li Qiang Heads to Moscow for Landmark China-Russia Summit

Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to preside over the 29th regular meeting between the Chinese and Russian heads of government, marking a significant milestone in bilateral relations.

Invited by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Li Qiang will engage in in-depth discussions on strengthening bilateral ties, enhancing practical cooperation, and addressing key mutual interests.

The annual meeting, a tradition since 1996, serves as a crucial platform for fostering consensus and promoting cooperation between the two nations. This year also commemorates the 75th anniversary of China-Russia diplomatic relations and the launch of the China-Russia Years of Culture.

Premier Li emphasized the resilience and growth of China-Russia relations over the past 75 years, highlighting increased mutual political trust and fruitful collaboration across various sectors.

He reiterated that his visit aims to uphold the enduring friendship between China and Russia, promoting mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing the shared vision established by both leaders.
