China Media Group (CMG) has partnered with the Tajik Khovar News Agency and Tajik TV Sinamo to launch an exhibition in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, showcasing over ten high-quality programs on Sunday.
CMG President Shen Haixiong highlighted that the exhibition strengthens the outcomes of meetings between Chinese and Tajik leaders, fostering a deeper emotional bond between the two nations. During the event, Shen delivered a speech via video, emphasizing the significance of cultural exchange.
The showcased programs, including documentaries like \"A Road to Prosperity\" and \"The Call of the Silk Road\", offer a vivid glimpse into China's diverse regional cultures. They highlight folk customs, economic and social developments, and the dynamic changes across different Chinese regions, illustrating China's vitality in the modern era. These programs aim to convey the importance of mutual learning and the benefits of cooperation and development between the two civilizations.
Shen also noted that the quality programs reflect the fruitful collaboration under the Belt and Road initiative between China, Tajikistan, and other countries. He expressed hope that the audience would recognize the potential for shared development and the flourishing of diverse civilizations worldwide.
Elena Batenkova, editor-in-chief of the Russian service of the Khovar News Agency, congratulated the exhibition event in her video speech. She stated that the event not only enhances the Tajik audience's understanding of traditional Chinese culture but also showcases China's recent achievements and the lives of contemporary Chinese people.
Batenkova expressed her hope that Tajik and Chinese media would continue to deepen their cooperation, contributing to the development of amicable relations between the two nations.
