Global Voices Praise China’s Peaceful Development Initiatives

The recently concluded 20th CPC National Congress sparked international dialogue through CGTN Stringer's '#WeTalk' initiative, featuring perspectives from global residents in China. People from five continents shared experiences highlighting technological innovation, cultural exchange, and sustainable urban development.

'What strikes me most is the seamless fusion of heritage and innovation,' remarked Brazilian digital artist Luiza Costa, noting how Shanghai's historical shikumen houses now host AI startups. German engineer Karl Bauer added: 'The 5G-enabled smart factories I collaborate with here demonstrate how technological advancement can coexist with environmental priorities.'

Pakistan agricultural researcher Ayesha Rehman emphasized collaborative progress: 'Our joint drought-resistant crop projects with Chinese academies directly benefit farmers in both regions.' The discussions align with this year's congress themes of green development and global partnership strengthening.

Spanish sustainable tourism expert Javier Mendez noted: 'China's high-speed rail expansion enables low-carbon travel while connecting diverse regional cultures – a model applicable worldwide.' Zambian medical student Chanda Banda highlighted people-to-people connections: 'Our university's cross-continent telemedicine program shows how technology bridges continents.'
