Zhejiang Golden Bulls Triumph Over Qingdao Eagles to Snap Losing Streak

The Zhejiang Golden Bulls secured a 98-86 victory against the Qingdao Eagles in Shandong Province on the Chinese mainland on Saturday, ending their three-game losing streak.

The game kicked off with Qingdao Eagles taking an early 10-2 run. However, the Golden Bulls quickly countered with a 10-0 rally, concluding with a three-point play by Yu Jiahao to take the lead. Both teams faced shooting challenges thereafter, and the first quarter concluded with a tied score of 20-20.

In the second quarter, Qingdao relied on the impressive offensive performance of Quinndary Weatherspoon, who consistently made shots beyond the three-point line and near the rim. Meanwhile, Paris Bass and Damian Jones helped Zhejiang maintain their slim lead at 45-42 by halftime.

The turning point came in the third quarter, highlighted by Paris Bass's outstanding performance. This surge enabled Zhejiang to outscore Qingdao 33-20 in the third, building a 16-point lead of 78-62 after three quarters.

Despite Qingdao's efforts to narrow the gap to single digits early in the fourth quarter, Paris Bass, alongside Yu Jiahao and Lu Wenbo, successfully shut down Qingdao's comeback attempts by making key jump shots.
